Part-Time Work Rider
EWR seeks self employed riders for a part time role with a difference. We are aiming to adopt an American/Australian system of riders and grooms.
Must be able to ride to a high standard, have experience riding yearlings and fast work. This position will be riding only, getting off one horse and straight on to another so no ‘doing up’ and you will only tack up your 1st lot, and 4th lot (after breakfast).
Most days will be 6 lots but you will receive a weekly wage which accounts for 7 lots regardless of how many you ride (max 7 lots). Wage £735 per week Mon to Sat. You may be required to ride 1 Sunday in 4 (1 lot only) when needed for which you will receive an additional £20.
No accommodation available.
Full Time Rider
We have a vacancy for a Full-Time member of staff (experienced rider) to join us and be a part of our fun and friendly team. We work on the 40 hour week basis, which means working 1 in every 3 weekends as well as having Tues-Fri afternoons off on the week following your weekend working. All overtime exceeding the 40 hours is paid at a generous rate as well as bonus’ and pool money.
Must work well within a team and experienced and competent riding racehorses, references are required. Accomodation available.
Yard Staff
We have a vacancy for a Full-Time member of yard staff to join us and be a part of our fun and friendly team. We work on the 40 hour week basis, which means working 1 in every 3 weekends as well as having Tues-Fri afternoons off on the week following your weekend working. All overtime exceeding the 40 hours is paid at a generous rate as well as bonus’ and pool money.
Must work well within a team and experienced and competent handling racehorses. References are required. Accomodation available.
