5 runners today at Newbury, Newmarket & York

A very busy and exciting day ahead for the team with runners showing up at 3 racecourses across the country. Please have a read of Ed's thoughts below:

We kick things off with Fille De Reve (PICTURE) running in the Class 2 Handicap at Newbury over 6f at 2.10pm. I’m hoping no rain turns up at Newbury today, in which case I think she will run very well. She looks fantastic and has been ready to go for a while. We would like to run her in to the Wokinghham at Ascot, but she does need to go up 4 or 5lbs to get in so hopefully she can win today and boost her rating. I think she can have a really good year this year and I’m looking forward to seeing her out this afternoon.

Sunday Star then lines up at York in the 2.25pm 3yo Class 1 Filles stakes over a mile. She is in great order at home and I couldn’t be happier with her. I think her odds do not do her justice and she has got a great turn of foot when he needs it and hopefully she can settle and get back on track.

Next up is Immoral who takes on 11 rivals in the 3yo Novice over 7f at 3.55pm at Newbury. He made a pleasing debut at Salisbury and is very well in himself, though this appears to be an exceptionally strong race so we will see how he gets on. Hopefully he will take another step forward and continure his progression this afternoon.

Verify runs next at 4.25pm, also at Newbury, in the 3yo Maiden over 1m2f. He has been a little disappointing so far and I’m hoping that he will settle better today in a Hood, especially as he is stepping up to 1m2f. Hopefully he can behave better today than he did at Newbury last time out and show us some promise.

Last but certainly not least, Caradoc takes his chance at Newmarket in the 4yo Class 3 Handicap over a mile. He has been ready to go for a while and I think this is the ideal race for him. He looks fantastic, is moving well and Liam Keniry knows him well from home and obviously riding him on his debut. It looks a competitive enough race, but if he is as good as I think he is he should run a solid race todaya nd hopefully be first to reach the winning post.
