A double on Saturday to complete a brilliant week

We topped off a great week on Saturday when Makarova landed the Fillies Listed Stakes at Ayr under Paul Mulrennan. A brilliant result for her owner breeders Brightwalton Bloodstock. Later that evening, Quickfire broke his maiden at Lingfield under a great ride from Connor Planas. Congratualtions to owner Laurence Bellman!

Today we have 2 runners at Newbury:

Aurora Dawn is in good form and the return to a straight 7f should suit. I am hopeful she can return to winning ways. 

De Bruyne has blinkers on today which I am hoping brings out the necessary improvement.
