Celandine and Scenic make it a day to remember at York

What a brilliant day at York we had yesterday! Celandine was extremely impressive winning the Group 2 Lowther Stakes under Tom Marquand. A huge result for the team and many congratulations to her owner/breeders Rockcliffe Stud. She is a very tough filly and has an exciting future ahead of her. 

Later in the day Scenic came from near last to first in the Listed Galtres Stakes under a very impressive ride from Oisin Murphy. She made it look easy making her way through horses to power clear in the final furlong. Again this was a very memorable win for her owners David and Sue Ward, with York being a special track for them.
