Eight runners today at three different meetings

We have a busy day ahead with eight runners between three meetings starting at Newbury. State Of Affair makes his debut in the first division of the novice over a mile, he is drawn in 4 of 14 and will be ridden by Liam Keniry. This son of Giant's Causeway was a breeze up purchase, he is a big boy and is very much one for next year but he has shown promise at home and will benefit from today's experience.

We have two runners in the second division of the same race, Baryshnikov (pictured) is drawn in 7 of 15 and will be ridden by Liam Keniry. He showed ability on debut at Salisbury just over three weeks ago when getting the hang of things late and running on well to finish fourth. We hope to see him make a step forward today in a typically competitive looking novice for the track. Dreamweaver is drawn in 5 of 15 and will be ridden by Gerald Mosse, he was extremely green and babyish on debut at Salisbury but should have learnt plenty and we hope to see a much improved performance from him today.

Molls Memory runs in the Class 4 handicap over seven furlongs, she is drawn in 3 of 20 and will be ridden by Liam Keniry. She has been running very well without winning of late and really deserves to get her head in front. She is a lovely big filly who stays in training next year but we hope she can go away for winter a winner.

Meanwhile at Haydock her brother Aeolus runs in the Class 2 handicap over six furlongs, he is drawn in 2 of 15 and will be ridden by Jamie Spencer. Since winning at Newmarket at the start of the season he has proved to be very disappointing, after two runs in blinkers we are removing them today and hope to see a better performance from him at a track where he has previously run very well.

Our other runner at Haydock is Legal History, he runs in the Class 3 handicap over an extended mile and six furlongs, he is drawn in 7 of 9 and will be ridden by David Egan. He has proved to be a frustrating horse throwing in a couple of moderate runs between some very encouraging performances. He has finished second three times for us and goes to the sales next week so we hope this step up in trip can help bring out the best in him.

We then have two runners at Kempton this evening, Abel Tasman runs in the first division of the Class 5 handicap over a mile, he is drawn in 3 of 14 and will be ridden by Liam Keniry. He broke his maiden back in May and has run extremely well on a number of occasions since without quite getting his head back in front. He is dropping back in trip again today and he too is going to the sales next week so hopefully he can make his final start for us a winning one.

Our last runner of the day is Sayem who runs in the Class 4 fillies' handicap over seven furlongs, she is drawn in 1 of 14 and will be ridden by Liam Keniry. She has failed to get her head in front this year despite some good efforts, she was made far too much use of at Musselburgh last time out over a mile and dropping back in trip today we hope that she can go close before going to the sales.
