Four runners at Wolverhampton tonight

We send four runners to Wolverhampton this evening. Mood For Mischief has his first start since February in the Class 5 handicap over an extended mile and one furlong, he is drawn in 7 of 13 and will he ridden by John Fahy. He is a very backward horse who was gelded and turned away to strengthen and mature after his last start, he had the summer at grass & has been brought back with the all-weather in mind. He will no doubt come on for the run after such a long layoff but hopefully he can run with promise.

Stormbomber (pictured) makes his debut in the Class 5 novice over seven furlongs, he is drawn in 2 of 12 and will be ridden by Liam Keniry. This son of Stormy Atlantic is a very big colt who has taken plenty of time to come to hand. He is working nicely at home & is ready to see the racecourse. Hopefully he can have a good first experience & show promise for the future.

Ransomed Dreams has his third start in the first division of the Class 5 novice over an extended mile, is drawn in 5 of 9 and will be ridden by Liam Keniry. He made a big step forward from his debut last time out at Newmarket and hopefully will show improvement again today in which case he should be competitive in what looks a tough race.

Finally State Of Affair runs in the second division of the same novice, he will also be ridden by Liam Keniry and is drawn in 9 of 9. This son of Giant's Causeway was green and babyish on debut at Newbury three weeks ago but he has been working nicely at home and we hope to see an improved performance from him this evening although he has been dealt a tough draw.
