Hedonista breaks her maiden! We have 4 runners on Guineas day today

Congratulations to Opulence Thoroughbreds with Hedonista winning impressively last night at Newcastle.

We have four runners today at Newmarket. Unfortunately Tom Marquand suffered an injury yesterday on board Waipiro so he will not be riding today and we have some jockey changes. Wishing Tom a speedy recovery. 

Makarova makes her seaonal debut in the 2.15 Listed Fillies Stakes. This is a hot race but fingers crossed she can get some black-type in the book. 

Popmaster lines up in the 2.50pm Handicap. I am hopeful he has come on from his last run and takes a step forward from Newbury 2 weeks ago. 

I am looking forward to Mountain Peak running today. It is a stiff ask but he seems well and on ratings he is not a million miles away. I am hoping they don't have too much rain. 

Prospering runs in the 5.50pm Handicap with Oisin on board. This is a big race but he is a well handicapped horse and this is worth a shot at decent prize money. I am looking forward to seeing him over 7f and I am hoping he handles the track.
