Rose Prick breaks her maiden at Newbury
Rose Prick broke her maiden yesterday in impressive style at Newbury under Saffie Osborne. Congratulations to her owner David Ward, a well deserved win.
We have three runners today at Sandown and York.
Random Harvest (2.05pm Group 3 Atalanta Stakes) I am looking forward to seeing her run at Sandown today and I think the track will really suit her. Saffie is in good form and she is drawn well. I am really looking forward to seeing her run and hopefully putting in a big performance again.
Aunt Violet looks a picture of health and runs at Sandown in the 4.25pm. Hopefully she can get a good positive position from a good draw and I am keeping everything crossed that she can get the job done on the third time of asking. She is a lovely filly and has a bright future so hopefully she can break her maiden and we can look forward to bigger and better things in the autumn.
Caradoc has made the trip to York for the 5.20pm Handicap. He continues to be in good form and I think he is on a really good mark now of 92. He is definitely more than capable of winning of this mark and hopefully that will be today at York which I think will be the ideal race for him. He just needs some luck and hopefully Tom Marquand can give him a smooth passage and get the job done.
Glenartney has made the trip to France for the Group 2 Prix Du Pomone in Deauville. She runs tomorrow at 4pm. It is a hot race but we are really looking forward to seeing her run under Ryan Moore and hopefully gaining some black-type.
USS Constitution makes his debut at Sandown tomorrow.
