Runners at York and Bath today

DESERT DOCTOR (photo) heads to post today at York after making the trip up there yesterday with Gary and J Singh. He runs in the 2.25pm Handicap over 6f under Gerald Mosse.

LEGEND ISLAND will line up in the 8.25pm Handicap at Bath over 1m. Liam Keniry takes the ride. Read Ed's thoughts below:

Desert Doctor seems in great form at home and I’m very much hoping that he can prove himself as effective on turf as he is on the all-weather tomorrow art York, he looks great and it’s a wide open sprint so I’m hoping that Gerald can let him find his rhythm close to the pace. 

Legend Island has been in good form since his disappointing run at Chelmsford and heads to Bath tomorrow where I am expecting him to run well back on turf. He looks great and I’m hoping that Liam can overcome a bad draw in what looks a moderate race.
