Stormy Antarctic runs in the Hong Kong Cup tomorrow

Stormy Antarctic is all set to line up in the Group 1 Longines Hong Kong Cup over a mile and a quarter at Sha Tin tomorrow, he is drawn in 8 of 9 and will be ridden by James Doyle. He has now done plenty of travelling and thankfully took this trip to Hong Kong well, our Travelling Head Lad Gary Plasted has been very happy with him since arriving and Ed has been there for a few days to oversee his final preparations. On his only previous attempt at this trip he finished second to Benbatl in a Group 1 in Germany which is decent form. He arguably ran a career best when fourth in the QEII at Ascot last month when only beaten a length and a half by Roaring Lion, stepping up in trip on better ground we are really looking forward to seeing him run tomorrow in what looks an open race. He has now finished second in three Group 1's and really deserves a big one, let's hope tomorrow can be his day.
