Terwada impresses at Newmarket. A busy Saturday ahead

Terwada won impressively last night at Newmarket under James Doyle. Congratulations to his owner Sheikh Ahmed Al Maktoum.

Today we have an exciting day with 9 runners.

First up, we have 3 fillies go head to head at Ascot in the Valiant Stakes (Gr.3).

Random Harvest has come out of her Newmarket run very well. She looks great and I have been happy with her lately. Hopefully the ground will be fine for her and she can sit handy and get a good position.

Sea Of Thieves has continued to improve this season. This is an exciting but tough task for her today.

Rose Prick is in great form and again this is a tough task for her stepping up in grade so it will be interesting to see how she goes.

Popmaster lines up in the Moet & Chandon Handicap at Ascot. He has never won over this distance but hopefully today he can back up that win the last time he was at this course.

Sherood looks a picture of health and is hopefully ready to win today at Newmarket. Stepping up to a mile will be ideal for him and it is great to have James Doyle on board.

Salisbury:

First Encore showed promise on his debut at Newbury and today looks an easier task. I am looking forward to seeing him run and I am hoping he takes the next step forward.

Queens Award has been a little disappoining on her first 2 starts but I am hoping Salisbury should suit her better today and stepping back in trip could see the necessary improvement.

Stryder this looks an open race and I am hoping he can show a bit more today. He wears a tongue tie and I am hoping this shows the necessary improvement.

De Bruyne showed improvement at Newbury last time so let's hope he can continue on an upward curve and get his head back in front today.

Best of luck to all connections today!
