The start of the turf season

We are looking forward to starting the flat season today with two runners. The team have worked very hard over the winter in very wet conditions, so we are now looking forward to some sunshine and flat racing!

Today we head to Doncaster with Harper's Ferry who is a horse we really like. He looks great and I am really looking forward to seeing him run. It looks like it could potentially be a very good race so let’s hope he wins it and proves himself a good horse in the making. Rossa Ryan takes the ride in the 4.10pm Maiden. 

Miss Alpilles has made the trip up to Newcastle for the 6.30pm Maiden under Saffie Osborne. I think she has improved a lot for her previous run and I am looking forward to seeing her back at Newcastle tomorrow. It looks a competitive race but I will be disappointed if she doesn’t win so lets’s hope she can break her maiden and we can look forward to the turf with her. She looks fantastic, is moving very well and is an exciting filly.
