Three runners today
Today we have got three runners at three different meetings starting with Di Alta who has made the long journey north to Catterick. She runs in the Class 4 handicap over a mile and six furlongs, she is drawn in stall 3 of 8 and will be ridden by Oliver Stammers taking seven pounds off her back. She is a very consistent filly and has finished in the money on all four of her starts so far this year so really deserves to get her head back in front stepping up in trip again.
Mountain Peak (pictured below) heads to Chelmsford for a valuable pot this afternoon, a Class 2 handicap over five furlongs. He is drawn in 8 of 9 and will be ridden by Liam Keniry. He has been a star for us winning five races in total, three of which have been this year. He deserves to take his chance in a race like this and we hope that he can overcome his bad draw and continue his progression.
Finally Know Your Limit runs at Newmarket in the Class 3 Amateur Riders' Cambridgeshire over nine furlongs, he is drawn widest of the seven runners and will be ridden by the hugely experienced Serena Brotherton. He is a very talented horse who is yet to find his way into the winners enclosure, he has finished second on five occasions and needs everything to fall right for him so we are hoping that will be the case today. He wears blinkers for the second time.
