Three runners today

We have an exciting day at Newmarket and Haydock with three runners including two fillies in the Listed Rosemary Stakes.

Chandeleur Island makes her debut at Haydock in the 3.15pm. She is a lovely filly, I think she will run well but I expect her to improve for the run.

Random Harvest and Sunset Bay go head to head in the Listed Rosemary Stakes at Newmarket (1.50pm). Random Harvest  looks well and I am hoping for a big run but it does look a strong race. I think Crystal Caprice and Whitebeam are potentially very good fillies and are 3-year-olds really on the up but hopefully Random Harvest can put her experience to good use. She has got a good draw in 9 and Saffie obviously knows her very well so fingers crossed for a big run.

Sunset Bay looks great and it will be interesting to see how she gets on today stepped up to a mile. There is no such thing as an easy Listed race but on ratings this does not look the strongest, however there are a couple of very progressive, unexposed 3 year-olds in there who could materialise into very good fillies.
