Weekend runners

We have just the three runners currently this weekend due to the large amount of rain that has fallen. 

Today we have Colouring at Windsor and Flotilla makes her debut at Goodwood for Highclere Racing. 

Colouring (1.05pm) is in great form and has been ready to run for three months now so I am pleased Windsor is on! I don’t think Heavy ground is going to be exactly what she wants but she needs to run and she will no doubt come on for it. In terms of opposition I think she has got a great chance, it will be really a case of how she handles conditions.

Flotilla (1.15pm) has been training really well and is a filly I like a lot, she’s got a great attitude and is enormously athletic. I’m a little concerned by the amount of rain they have had at Goodwood but at this stage I’m not entirely sure what her ground preferences would be so we will take our chances. I’m sure she will come on hugely for this first experience but hope to see a promising performance today.

Tomrrow, First Charge will most likely be our only runner at Goodwood.
