Mountain Peak, Dreamweaver and Triggered run today

Two horses head to Goodwood this afternoon. Mountain Peak (pictured below) runs in the 3.15pm Handicap over 5f and Dreamweaver lines up in the 4.55pm Handicap over 1m2f.

Triggered will run at Doncaster in the 6.50pm this evening over 6f. A big thank you to Jess our Assistant Travelling Head Girl who will be heading to Doncaster from Newcastle last night!

See below for Ed's thoughts on the runners today:

Mountain Peak is in really good order and goes here fresh and well. He is a very tough and genuine horse with a fantastic record and with his usual partner Liam Keniry on board, I’m hopeful of the perfect start to his season.

Dreamweaver is ready to get his season underway in what looks a competitive 3yo Handicap. He looks fantastic and has been working well and I hope he can get us off to a winning start like his mother did as a 3yo on her handicap debut. I imagine he may want to step in trip in due course, but this is a good starting point for him and I think he will give a good account of himself.

Triggered will run  at Doncaster as there has been sufficient rain fall, making the ground now on the slow side of good which will be ideal for him. He will be ridden by a promising young apprentice who will take off another 5lbs and he is such good form I really feel that if producing his best he will be hard to beat. He looks a picture and his work has been extremely good so fingers crossed he can get back to winning ways.
